In short
Articles bylined Tips8ng Model Desk are drafted by an AI model from verified football data, run through automatic fact checks, and published only after a person at Tips8ng has read and approved them. Nothing is published automatically.
Where the facts come from
Each article is written from one competition’s data as we hold it at the time: fixtures, results, the league table, form and knockout ties, collected from our football data providers and refreshed several times a day. The writer is given that data and nothing else, and is told not to add facts from memory.
What is checked before an editor sees it
- Every number, team name, weekday and month in the article must appear in the source data.
- Home and away must match the fixtures, and no match may be mentioned that is not in the fixtures.
- Recent form is quoted from counted results (for example “three wins and two defeats in the last five”), never worked out by the writer.
- No guarantees, no “sure things”, no odds offers and no betting calls.
- Facts come first; interpretation is kept to a final section headed Our view, so you can tell the two apart.
- Every article ends with our responsible-gambling line.
An article that fails these checks is held back. A second AI model also reads the data and the article and lists anything that looks contradictory; the editor sees that list before deciding. That second check can be wrong, so a person makes the call.
Human approval
Every article waits in an approval queue until an editor at Tips8ng approves it, asks for a rewrite, or rejects it. Only approved articles appear on the site.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we correct the article or take it down. A corrected article shows when it was last updated. To report a mistake, email teddynted@gmail.com with the article’s address and what is wrong.
Independence
We have no affiliate deals with bookmakers and our articles contain no betting links. If a placement is ever sponsored, it is labelled “Presented by” or “Sponsored”, and a sponsor never has a say in our analysis, our model or our published record.
Articles and predictions are different things
Articles describe what the data shows about a competition. Match probabilities come from our prediction model and live on the prediction pages; how that model works is explained in our methodology, and how it has done is on the model record. Nothing here is betting advice. 18+.
