Analytics
Usage measurement with Google Analytics, so we can see which pages and features are used and improve them. Uses a pseudonymous browser identifier (cookies starting _ga); never your name, email or payment details. No advertising or ad personalisation.
Marketing & advertising
Advertising and retargeting technologies and marketing pixels used to measure campaigns and show more relevant ads.
How we store your choice
Your decision is saved in a first-party cookie (t8-consent) containing only the consent version, per-category on/off flags and a timestamp — no personal information. It is set with SameSite=Lax and Secure in production. Clearing it (or a change to our categories) brings the banner back so you can choose again.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
Only if you allow the Analytics category, we load Google Analytics 4. It sets cookies starting _ga holding a random browser identifier, and records which pages you visit (without the query string), coarse product events such as which competition’s predictions you viewed, and approximate location and device information derived by Google. We never send your name, email address, account ID, payment details or what you type into forms. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Withdrawing consent stops collection and deletes the _ga cookies we can reach.
Live scores & core features
Live scores, fixtures, results, tables, match statistics and sign-in do not depend on analytics or marketing consent. Rejecting optional cookies never blocks core football functionality.
